Client: Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts
Services: Writing/Editing, Graphic Design, Research, Communications Direction, Campaign Planning, Client Management
The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts (PACD) wanted to increase awareness of its Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) among farmers and landowners across the state, driving increased interest in program enrollment in support of livestock facilities, watershed buffers and fencing projects, tree planting, and other conservation efforts.
In collaboration with colleagues providing digital advertising, PR, and graphic design services, I managed an integrated communications campaign for the program including newsletter outreach, targeted social media advertising, event signage at the PA Farm Complex, and PR materials including a new media kit, press releases, and program infographics. I worked with freelance collaborators on a weekly basis to coordinate activities across campaign tactics and provide regular metrics updates and reports to our client in advance of weekly status calls. These highly orchestrated, organized, and integrated efforts resulted in the contracted agency being considered for future grant-supported communications work for the client.
